Been a lot of years since I filled one out but at the time I just listed as "handloads" with a specific caliber designation and was never refused.
Are people still submitting competition invitations? My understanding was that this is no longer a requirement?
What did you guys put under the ammunition section when its reloaded ammo with various headstamps?
I put Reloads (My name) caliber, quantity. A couple of years ago I had a form 6 rejected because I forgot to put my name behind "Reloads". Montana State Border Patrol still likes to see a Invitation or Hunting License. They follow both state and federal requirements.
Would "small game hunting" work?
I submitted my Form 6, 2 weeks ago, had it returned today. My Kodiak WK-180 was declined
Anyone else had a wk-189 declined? Any reason.
That confirms it, a few weeks back my friend got his back with the FX-9 declined. He put the effort in and talked to the ATF and he was told that the Canadian government requested that the U.S. Not allow "this type" of firearm to move across the border. I'm not a tinfoil hat person but I think we know where this is headed.

A standard condition of any Form 6NIA is that the importation is necessarily temporary, and that all of the approved items are re-exported at the same time as the non-immigrant alien exits.
Obviously, an item that cannot be legally imported to Canada cannot be legally re-exported (to Canada), so they're not likely to issue a temporary import permit.
My Ruger PC9 was not declined, so i will re-apply, see where that goes. Also on polys list
