Form 6

On my last few approved forms I've put "Reloaded ammunition by self".

I found this page useful the first time I sent in the form:
losttarget.com/form6.html

Now they put a extra page on your approval saying no depleted uranium ammo!

I put "handloads made by me in my home". I once had an application rejected because I just wrote "handloads". They told me they needed to know who made them and where they were made.

Chris.

for my first few forms I simply put 'Reloaded Ammunition, reloaded by applicant John Doe 123 any Street, City, Postal Canada" I only ever drive across the border and have never had a problem. After a conversation with another shooter who flies a lot with his equipment I changed on my most recent form to "Custom Loads, Loaded my applicant......" He advised that some airlines had balked at letting him fly with reloads but have no issue with Custom loads. Either way I've always had my form approved and no issues at the border.

Under manufacturer : My name and address

Then fill in the rest re. cals and quantity.... No need to write in "reloads/handloads/custom loads/ etc.

I just fill in the info they specifically asked for. No more, no less.

I have gone across both ways numerous times with hand loads, detailed on a Form 6... no issues at all. Name and address for the manufacturer (specifying hand loads).

I talked to imports branch last week to check on my f6...
'Was told they have added steps to the approval process which may cause apps to take longer...
I had emailed mine in on January 2nd... Received it back approved Feb 6th.
