I have been waiting patiently for Sinclair to get the Co-Ax press back in stock. I signed up for the backorder list but after months, still nothing.
Now I see on the Sinclair website the Co-Ax as being a new product. Yet the Forster website doesn't state anything about a new press or any changes and they are using the same old stock number.

Does anyone know what is going on?

If I could find a Canadian, or any other source that sold them for the $273.00 neighbourhood, I'd gladly order from them but looking at some of their competition, they all want $400 plus.

The Forster Co-Ax is in very high demand. I waited close to 6 weeks for Sinclair to get my Forster .223 dies, I'm assuming they have quite a long list of backorders for the Co-Ax. You could always call or email Forster directly and find out the wait times, who knows maybe they could bump your Sinclair order up?

Yup you are absolutely right. I sent an Email to Forster just a few minutes ago.

Never heard of them. Thanks. I'll look them up now.

Thanks again Eddycat. I called X-Reload today and although they are currently out of stock, they are expecting another shipment in early August and if Forster doesn't backorder they will be getting more Co-Ax presses.
I'm glad to find to a Canadian dealer that at least tries to stock these presses. I'm hoping they get these in as I have to go see a customer in Montreal the first week of August and could pickup the press and more.
All they asked was that I send them an Email withmy name and number s that they could track the request.
Too easy to deal with, at least so far.

Forester Emailed back today and stated they have significant backorders and that they will be shipping to other custmers before any more get shipped out to Sinclair /Brownells because those backorders have been outstanding longer than Sinclair's, but they can't tell me how many those customers have on backorder. They ,ay ship a bunch t Midway and Graf but their backorders may be greater than what Forster ships them. I'm not that desperate that I need to put one on backorder everywhere and take the first one. Right now I'm going to hold out for X-Reload in Montreal or Sinclair (if they ever get caught up on their backorders).

It's my pleasure Nipigon Jack. René is always nice to deal with and he supports f-class shooting in eastern Canada. His shop is not a hunting store with a small reloading section...it's a reloading gear store!!!

I also bought my Forster from X-reload I had to ask three times if that was the real price and not a mistake...LOL

I'm looking forward to stopping in to see what they have while I'm in Quebec next month. No doubt that I'll be walking out with a lot more than just a press if the inventory is good.
BTW, how are things out in Miramichi? I worked out there in 2010 and 2011 for about 15 months on the federal wharf in Chatham. 2 of my favorite places- O'Donaghues and West Side Fitness.
I met a lot of terrific people out there.
One of the guys on our crew liked it so much, he quit his job in Ontario, and moved back out there a soon as his house was sold.

if you plan on visiting, go check his facebook page: he has a retail store but it's at the back of his house so it is more or less on appointment; from noon to 8PM...something like that...and be aware that he is about 40 minutes east of montreal

Oh, and for the inventory: don't even worry...going there in person is very very dangerous :) Check the pics on the FB page

I hope you'll enjoy your new co-ax, I know I love mine. The claims on this machine may not all be accurate but it is a beauty to look and operate. Moreover, it is true that it is the cleanest of them all

Their warehouse is only across the bridge from a customer of mine and would be perfect if we could meet there. Not a big deal if I have to drive a little bit. I'm sure it will be worth it. I'm bidding on a project in Becancour this week, so I may be spending more time in Quebec in September :D
I can get stocked up for a winter full of reloading

Things are going alright here, not much work though. O'Donahues is my favorite hangout too. My brother in law owns the gym too.

What does your friend work at?

I don't think he is working. He said he was going to retire. There were a couple of apartment buildings for sale in Rogersville that he was thinking of buying for some income.
