Fortis handguard barrel nut or wrench to buy canada?

No need to try and source the virtually unobtainable Fortis wrench. The Fortis barrel nut takes a standard spanner wrench. I bought the Tapco armorer's wrench for the nut on my MV. Bullseye Sports has it. Good price too.

Did your barrel nut have the pin holes?
Yes it does. The small end on the Tapco wrench has the pin that will fit.
The reaction rod and Tapco wrench worked perfectly for me. I had to be careful to hold the wrench in position while I turned it so the pin stayed down but made out fine. You may have to loosen the screws on the gas block and slide it towards the end of the barrel so the gas tube is out of the way of you turning the wrench. Don't know if I can add much more.
