Its pretty simple I just want names, Its a simple question to answer, not sure why people have to put opinions, I can talk to the welder if its do able. Unless you want to do it? Since you have an opinion on it that you want me to change.

OMG removing solder is sooo hard, couple passes with a file. Most welders are going to grind a bevel in it for the welds to take. Which would take it off.

Or build welds up vs welding the 2 parts together. 2 ways to do it

I agree with you 100% but the reality is you ask a question on a forum, for sure you will get all kind of answers that won’t answer your question hahaha that is the nature of the beast lol! In your case usually what I do and maybe you did already is to do a search on Google for tigwelding shops and start from there! Ask the shops what they can do and send them pictures…. Be patient cause lots of these shop won’t reply but you can call them in advance to make sure they get to read your email! Good luck!!

I already told you why I wouldn't touch it for any money. It's not as easy as you think, to take ALL the solder off a part that has already been dicked with, to get it clean enough to weld it back together. Thus, I will offer opinions, but sure as hell, not offer to do that job for you.
It's pretty obvious that any welding experience you might have, has been nothing like the job you are offering up.

Methinks you coulda saved on a lot of butthurt by just calling any welders you can find within a days drive.

My past experience with parts like that, is that you are better off making a new one that fits and functions properly.

I don't suppose it occurred to you that there are not exactly a lot of gunnies out there that are willing or able to do this type of stuff, did it?

Typical CGN fashion.. Sorry I ####ing asked about welding gun parts on a ####ing gun forum. Figured you know....this gun community, that there would be a circle people like to use. Ask here first before moving else where.

It's done I found someone, you can move onto someone else.

They say that Preparation H eases Butthurt! LOL!
Though you might need smaller clothes! :)

Maybe stop taking yourself so seriously.

What you want, it isn't all that common. Best of luck with that! Hope it works OK for ya!

LOL! Temper temper now!

Seriously, you didn't think that hard drive space was so dear as to need to run around erasing your tracks online too, just because you don't like the advice you paid nothing for?

Despite lots of folks saying it's either a bad idea, or it won't work to your satisfaction, you have already decided that we are all FOS, and picking on ya! Now, that's just funny.

When your welded part breaks in the same place, or right beside that, check in and we can point you at some sources for decent quality files! (Hint: Grobet File Co. Catalog!) and like as not you can make a proper fitting replacement part that won't leave you shagging all over the welder that finally tried what you wanted.

It looks to be not all that complicated a part to make from scratch, but it also looks to me that it's going to have to cost you some before you figure that out! If you make one from scratch, you can make one that actually FITS where it is supposed to, as you claim the gun is not assembled/fitted/made correctly.

And, as I said before, if you simply stated what it was from, like as not, a half dozen would appear...

And, I'll point out, the whole "please delete" thing pretty much means you want to keep any and all the results from your original question, from being available to any of the folks that come along after you. To the brighter side, there are enough quotes to figure it out!

Which is pretty much the antithesis of why folks hang around in places like this and answer questions. Even if the actual answers are not what you were looking for!

As the saying goes, wisdom comes from experience. Experience comes from poor decisions!

Edit and delete - best way to hide information from future people that might want the info. How selfish and ignorant can you get that you ask for help then deny other people the knowledge when you find an answer? I hope no one helps you in the future.

Meh.

Dunno if I'd take it that far, but yeah, in general!
