Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on getting a RMR cut slide for my gen 4 Glock 17.

I picked up a Zev slide (for thr gen 4 Glock 17) and when I put it on, the trigger does not reset. When I put the stock slide back on the trigger resets.

Any advice?

Is the Zev slide complete? or did you transfer the parts over? if not, check to see if the parts are compatible? with each other.

I have 3 Zev slides 17 Gen4 19 gen3 and 19 gen5 never had an issue with any of them

Most people that put these aftermarket slides on thier Glock buy them bare, and add their own internals and triggers.

So first things first what kind of upper parts do you have in the slide, and what trigger are you using? Are you swapping all your OEM Glock internals into the ZEV slide when you switch between slides?

Also your chanel liner for the striker is new, and can be tight, tightness also dending on your striker/spring/sleave combo used. Zev makes their own chanel liners that are red and pre installed for you, its a good thing to check make sure the stiker assembly moves freely inside the liner

Thanks for all the replies.

I swapped over all of the Glock parts to the new Zev slide.

When you say all, do you mean the firing pin channel liner as well? This part doesn’t just fall out when you disassemble. Often times it’ll break when you disassemble it. If you’re new to Glock you likely won’t even know this part existed.

I had similar issues. Connector is most probably the problem.

Try another one or put back the Glock one and polish it...lol

Cheers.
