Found BX-25 ruger mags

The simple answer is for Ruger to come out with a different SKU magazine that is advertised and packaged as being only for the 10-22 :)

problem solved {LOL!}

I'll tell ya, get a few of these, tactical inc mags can't compare. If I seen that on the local shelf, I'd take them all.

Well this IS interesting. I just spoke with my contact in exports at Ruger and this is the first she has heard of BX-25s with no Charger mention on the packaging and instructions. As far as she knows they are still prohib.

She'll hopefully email me back in a couple of days with more info from her supervisor.

OK folks, just got an email back from my Ruger contact. She tells me that the Canadian government has made no decision to allow the importation into Canada...

So yup; still PROHIB.

It is what it is. Why do you think our laws are insane? Anyways, let's not take this further off topic. Damn I would like a couple of these magazines, I don't know why all metal mags are uncommon - well, I guess I do, price.

Wow... that's an intelligent statement.

You think different?

How can someone who doesnt even know the main points of the different parties cast a vote? How can they intelligently choose a party if they dont know anything but what they hear on TV which is mostly gossip and slander surrounding politicians personal lives?

That is what is happening right now!

Idots or uneducated if you like...

I read so many bad reviews about the BX-25 magazines that I would not even be eager to get any if they were legal.
Tactical Innovations TI-25 or the new HC3R are both excellent magazines and you are probably better off IMO.
The hc3r's are nice but the quality and finish of the plastic leave a lot to be desired, they look like dollar store toys. The bx-25 looks just as nice as the stock ruger 10rd magazines.

So it sounds like it was the latter of my statement in this case.

Uninformed local purchasing manager at Bass pro ordering from an equally uninformed stock manager down at the US warehouse and it got missed by CBSA either because it was in with a ton of other stuff or they didn't know either.

Keep in mind, this is a very obscure ruling that most non-rimfire/10-22 enthusiasts know about. I bet 90%+ of all police, cbsa, etc have no clue that they are prohib. It isn't exactly high on anyone's radar.
