Intresting target rifle. 3 inch diameter barrel, Lee Enfield action, Marked delisle??? Seems to be chambered in some pistol cartridge?? Anybody know anything about this strange rifle. Will post pictures later. Thanks in advance
 
It's a delisle carbine chambered in 45 acp; they're very rare so it's surprising your friend had one kicking around in his basement...
The 3" dia barrel is probably a suppressor and is prohibited.
 
I dont know guys the OP has 10 posts and joined in 2004 doesnt seem like the kind of guy to do an april fools joke to me... maybe its true.
 
If your friends name is Mark its a great find, I sold it to him and still have pictures of it on my old computer, will dig them up later.

Oh for the neh-sayers, its a deact and worth 10 bucks as a paperweight, but cool none the less

If it is a real deac Deslisle, it is worth a whole lot more than that. I would be extremely interested in buying it if it is the real thing.

Oh it was a priceless piece, but as a paperweight...10 bucks :D
I sold it long ago for an undesclosed amount of cha-ching, its value is still growing faster then my investment porfolio, chalk it up as another lesson in life.
