I had been having a lot of trouble finding a load that shoots accurately out of my Savage 220. One of the guys here suggested I try 3" Rem Accutip., as it's what Savage recommends. I bought one box to try (at $4 a slug, I didn't want to buy more ammo that wouldn't shoot well). Well, to my amazement, it shoots a 1" group at 50 yds. Best I got before that was 5" or 6" at 50 - I did get one group around 7-8 inches at 100.
