Keep your money and wait patiently, M1s come up on the EE on a weekly basis, if you are vigilant, you can get tucked in for under $1000 ... [I saw four go in the past 2 months for $850-$950]
 
I picked mine up for $812 shipped, you can too. The fellow who had mine was moving to the US and needed to let his rifles go. He only wanted enough for it to pick one up once he got down there. Just keep the money you have saved up for one secured so it's there when it comes up. Deals do come around.
 
As mentioned, make sure if you use (FRAUD ALERT) to accept payment, you do so carefully and for permitted items only. If you don't, you can have your account frozen.....
