Found some 7.62X54R

I just ordered a case of 7.62x54R from Ellwood Epps and a case of 7.62x25(don't have a gun in this yet though) from Frontier. I already have 3.5 cases of 7.62x39 at home that I got from Wholesale Sports. I also just received a case of 00 buckshot I got from Marstar. I am now happy.

7.62x54R, Soft point, non-corrosive, factory ammo is 26 bucks a box in Calgary. Picked up one today just because. Even though I have no plans to go hunting with a nagant.

How much does 7.62x54R from Ellwood Epps cost all together ? I need to order another crate.

I was there on Wednesday and think I heard $269 or maybe $279 a case. Minus the shipping costs from when I last ordered a case from Marstar, it would have cost me less, and I wanted to purchase another.

The $279 SVT-40 felt like enough of a purchase for the day, though I'll get one later if they still have it.

Cheers,

Frank

7.62x54

I just received my order from Ellwood Epps this week
(7.62x54) $289 +shipping+tax = $390 at my front door,I think maybe i paid a bit too much for it ,but that s the only place i find that still have it in stock!
and I am still waiting for my Mosin to ship!

I didnt know they have 7.62x25 , how much they going for?

I just Paid 412$ with ship and tax for 7.62x25 shipped from frontier

Shipping is a Killer on this stuff when you cant find it locally... ha well its only 18 cents a round....

*newsflash*
My neighbor recently sold his 91/30 BUT NOT THE AMMO!!!
He offered me two full unopened crates of 54r plus about 300 loose rounds for $300.00
I have a feeling this is a good deal, but i dont own a Mosin..YET :)

I may take him up on this "Neighborly offer"
and finally get me a Mosin of some sorts.

edit: Im going to have to hit up the line of credit for this one cause cash is low, but im assuming Ammo doesnt go 'stale' does it?

Odds are the stuff hes selling you is about 30 years old, as is a lot of the stuff Marstar et al are selling so I wouldn't worry about it.

awesome ill buy it up for the sake of having it and then hoard it until i can afford the Mosin im looking at.

Listen to you all. Don't buy this- it's inconvenient, don't buy that - it's akward to feed... infidels! Buy them all, the Lord will provide the ammo, you just have to believe! (or reload:p) I shoot all different calibers and buy surplus when it presents itself. It all appears periodically... Except .303... anyone?... and 8mm...yeah, best to reload.
