I was rummaging around in the magazine and found a sealed drum of each. 60 pounders

If anyone in the GTA is desperate for powder, I can fill window washer fluid jugs. $25/lb

I hate to admit this, because it dates me, but the first H4831 powder I bought cost me 75 cents/lb.

Ganderite....good on you to invite those reloaders in your area to get in on a windfall.

Regards, Dave.

Selling it was my wife's idea. She said that if I die with any unused powder in the magazine, she will use it in her flower beds.

There is more powder there than I can use in the rest of my life, no matter how long I live or how much I shoot. My son pointed out that some guys might be desperate for powder and it would by wrong for me to sit on a hoard that I don't need.

Don't start pming me about other powders. Other than WW571, there is nothing else there I am willing to sell. WW571 is the same powder as HS7. I used to use if fro 12 ga slugs and heavy bullets in 357, 44 Mag and 45 Colt.

Howdy! I dunno if you remember me...I bought your Model 14 off you. It still shoots better than I can. I am working a gold claim above tree line in the west Kootenays. I pack it with me as i can depend upon it. The "neighbors" generally keep to themselves but... Not much for blackies as the Grimsleys keep'em down.

If you ever run across any W-748, lemme know. It works well with the .35 (FTX bullets) and my .308W with 150gr.

Just thought I'd drop you a line and say Howdy!

I just looked at this thread again and noticed that Ganderite is also willing to sell WW571. With the current powder shortage, I thought I'd mention that WW571 can also be used in 45 ACP loads. The following data is from the 15th Edition Winchester Reloader's Manual, 1997. I used up quite a bit of 571, under 230gr lead round nose bullets in my Colt Gold Cup.

Thank you.

HS7 (same powder) is about the same speed as Blue Dot, but meters much better. Good powder for heavy pistol loads, heavy shot shell loads and heavy cast bullets in rifles.

It is no longer made and list if for anyone who used to use it as a favourite and wishes they had some more.

I think I have about 10 cans of it. More than I need right now.
