Found this today! 1909 peruvian mauser!!

Recently picked a Brazilian off the EE. Gorgeous and silky smooth gun. Was thinking of using that Lee 7mm mold, I think it's 140 grain. Anyone have experience with that?
 
Couple things I noticed while reading the comments:

No, Swedes are not the finest Mausers. Not even close. Anyone that says they are has never handled or examined one of these or an Argentine 1909, Brazilian 1908, or Brazilian 1935, or just about any German made SA contract rifle in mint condition. I'm not saying the Swedes aren't a fine rifle, they are, but they are a step below these in fit and finish. I've owned a half a dozen minty Swedes and loved them but they just can't compare.

Peruvian 1909's are not the only model to use a pear shaped knob. The German 1903 Mausers also used a pear shaped knob.

As mentioned almost all of these have m/m bolts. Such a shame. I own one with a matching bolt and know of another in the US. That's all that I'm aware of but I'm sure there are a lot more, they just aren't common. When I sold off my entire M98 collection to fund my MO K98k obsession, this was the only one I kept. You just can't get much more MO than "MAUSER ORIGINAL" and they are such a fantastic work of art.

I have many of those and I think I would have to agree with you, although I think the difference is slight. That being said.....my favorite to shoot might still be the nasty old K98.
 
Outstanding Mauser. I remember how well finished my FN-made 1946 M1930 Venezuelan was... only rifle I regret selling! Hang on to that gem and MM bolts are no biggie on those. I would measure headspacing to be sure.
