Four barrelled sawn off

Multi barreled shotguns are not all that unusual, and have been made throughout the history of the gun. Dickson made a 3 barrel SxSxS, and Famars has made the Quattro, and still manufactures the Rombo, a 4 barreled gun which is a marriage between a SxS and an U/O.

Remember that in Canada you cannot hunt with a four barreled gun, it holds one too many shells!

I believe Charles Lancaster made a 4 barrel gun. Have seen a 4 barrel, turnover ml shotgun by Michael Mater, of Chippawa, Canada West.
This item, however has nothing to do with any multibarrel sporting gun.
No idea if it is a one-off or something that has been commercially manufactured.

Winchester made a four barrelled 16 gauge, called the Liberator.

Looks like the maker may have been looking at the patent drawings for it when this one was put together.

It would definitely make ANYBODY think they were in the wrong line of work, if they were to come face on with the front end of one of those!

Gotta wonder what the Brit cops thought when it got dropped off?

With all the "guns is bad" conditioning that they get fed with a shovel, knowing that there are guys out there making stuff like that, has got to be a motivator for a new line of work.

Make a guy wonder what is out there in the home-mades, that did NOT get turned in, too!

Britain's basement machinist/metalworkers are quite possibly head and shoulders above our own basement machinist/metalworkers, they've been at it a long long time. I think that 'Liberator' shotgun or whatever it's called is in the World's Fighting Shotguns. According to their website, that Rombo shotgun is only available in .410 and the #### Cheney-manhunting caliber.

And by the way here's a picture of ol' #### himself.
