Fox pro X24 remote range

Hello all.
Looking at buying a fox pro x24. They claim over 300 yards for the remote range under ideal conditions.
I would like to know the real range on these.

I have the FoxPro hammer jack, honestly I've never tested to see how far the remote works, the caller is alway within about 50 yards or so of my hide so can't imagine why the need for a 300 yard range on the remote. I honestly don't know anyone that deploys the caller more than about 50 or 60 yards max when they set up.
 
Just looking to know how far a person can actually go. I have a firestorm and can't get 20 yards away. I want some distance between me and the caller when a yote is coming in.

If I could get 60 yards or more. I would be happy. 100 would be golden.
