good day all:
just picked up a foxpro wildfire with the tx9 remote.
what is the approximate maximum distance i can sit the caller from me and still have the remote work the unit.

any info is greatly appreciated.

I would take it to an open field and find out for yourself. The manufacturer will give you a "best case" number which may not reflect reality

Your wanting the closes shot possible , so keep it in the 40 yards mark and let them come in...

Hey bud,

I'm still learning but so far every time I have gone out with my hunting buddy, he sets up his ecaller no more that 30-40 yards. Just like others have said... It best to just try it out. Take your rifle out just in case something becomes curious, put it in a nice spot ( we like to elevate his by hanging it on a tree limb or bush) and then walk 20 yards, hit a call, then 30 and so on... Don't plan to hunt per say but learn the calls you like and gauging your distance you can use your call.


Also where did you get your call... I'm looking to pick one up as a backup and possible solo runs if I can't hook up with my buddy.
