The main book on FP-45 is called "The Liberator Pistol" (1996) by a most dedicated man, Ralph Hagan
At page 49, the issue of distribution of 196 specimens in Canada (and the adding of serial numbers) is detailed
It appears there were 13 means of serializing (!) - Nothing ever simple with bureaucracy ... My 4-digits (SN) "1608" is one of 39
