Was thinking the same thing. Unfortunatey it isnt dated. I think it mentions that the Franchi and Auto 5 are still in production so im thinking maybe late 90's. As we know, the A5's being made today are not long recoil guns and Franchi is no longer making a 12g 48AL. Unless of course, the guy writing the article has no clue what the new guns actually are.
