Just got this shotgun a short while ago. I've cleaned it and oiled it. Tried a few patterns with birdshot. Got a turkey tube for spring (hope to get drawn). If you have some experience with them please send it my way. Thanks
Great Shotgun, only thing I found is it shoots high, It helped when I used shim kit that came with it, I shoot it pretty decent now, it's a great little semi found it very reliable.
I had and enjoyed one, It was picky with some target loads. Aside from that it did everything I asked including killing several turkeys and many ducks and geese.
I got it used and only has the one shim. seems to be hitting on the top of the barrel, sort of a 6 o'clock hold I guess. is that about where it should be? it cycled light 7/8 oz and heavy 1 1/4 oz loads so i am pleased. Thanks
I bought one to use as a rain/crappy weather gun to shoot skeet. I like it enough that I will even shoot it on sunny days. It does not like Challenger shells and fails to cycle. Remington Gun Clubs and Federal Top Gun cycle without a problem.
I have the limited edition companion German Pointer in 20 -- fits me perfectly with no need for shims so it shoots where iI look - great guns for the $.
My favourite grouse gun. I used it to bang around some ducks this past fall, but I prefer 12ga for waterfowl. I love my affinity 20ga so much, going to buy another in 12ga elite version at some point.. looking at the marsh brown optifade camo.
