Hello,

I've got a new Franchi about 2 weeks ago, boy ou boy was I happy.
Finally this morning I had time to drive to Silverdale gun club near Smithville,ON.
Very nice people set me up so I can patern my shotgun, got free targets and of I go, I had one range all to myself. Nice. I fired about 50 shots all from different distance and used all the chokes the gun came with.
Good results, as I expected. The Franchi worked flawlessly, not a single failure to eject or misfire.
I was using 12 Ga 2/34, 1200 fps light target load.
Anyway long story short, Italian manufacturer did a good job. I am confident that the Affinity is a good gun and I would recommend this gun to anyone.

Franchi is a fine firearm manufacturer. I own or have owned quite a few of them.....eight to be exact.....from semi's to over/unders to SxS's. Never had an issue with any of them. You will enjoy your new purchase and Im sure you'll be pleased. Dont let the Franchi price tag fool you either....you have a quality gun that will likely outlast your ability to shoot it. My father bought a Franchi 48AL semi in 1973 and shot it until the day he died. He never had a problem with it and likely shot over 70000 rounds through it.

Other then their reliability, Franchi is well known for their light weight and being well balanced guns. I own/owned many shotguns from all different manufacturers, most notably the three B's (Beretta, Browning, Benelli) and for me, the Franchi's always seem to be the most comfortable and best fitting. None of the guns I've shot have handled quite like the Franchi's

Bought mine a couple months ago and absolutly love it . I am compleatly sold on franchi i have taken a serious liking to skeet shooting recently and while everyone at the club loves there berettas and citoris this guy is hell bent on finding a franchi over and under they are beautiful at a fraction of the cost with most of todays top tecnology they may not have all the bells and whistles but my affinity is the best gun i have bought yet and i doubt my next franchi will dissapoint
 
yes your right..i forget the name of the franchi o-u but it looks the same as a betinsolli...i own 2..a x8plus for trap..and a xtrail 20 gauge for upland birds,, they are very good shotguns for the price ..i have a maxus for my ducks..i love shotgunning
