I have a question for the shotgun guru's. I really hope it hasn't been covered before, as I just ran a few searches and came up empty. Here goes. A few years ago I purchased a 12ga Franchi Alcione O/U. It was a mixed set from a dealer that went out of business and didn't come with a complete set of chokes nor a tube wrench. It did come with a second set of 12ga barrels though:rolleyes:

The choke I got with it were Cyl, Impr. Cyl., Mod, Mod, Impr Mod. I recently began shooting skeet using the Cyl and Impr Cyl but would like to purchase a pair of extended skeet tubes and possibly get a complete set of aftermarket tubes to use for hunting aswell.

I was on the Trulock Chokes website and they have what I want in their "Sporting Clays" model under Franchi "new" which is what I believe I need as the threads on my chokes go right to the end where as the old ones apparently stopped before they got to the notches. The Briley Chokes website says to use the Bennelli Mobil Choke for my gun, they also have a similar extended choke listed.

Are both of these set ups compatible with my gun? Are neither one of these the ones I want? Is there something better for me too look at? Can I even order them up here? Sorry for all the questions, but I find it a little confusing. I guess I should have just bought a Browning or something else a little more common:redface:

Thanks for any help you can give.

It sounds like you need the Benneli style chokes, but the VERY BEST advice I can give you ios to phone George Trulock on his 1800 number himself and ask.
He can give you the answer in a second, and is the most knowledgeable person you will ever talk to when it comes to chokes.
They are super fast to ship, and returns are no problem .
I only use their chokes on my guns!
Their pricing is super as well....

thanks cat I went ahead and ordered two of the extended sporting clays skeet tubes on Friday was told there should be no problem and if not Trulock is supposed to have one of the best warranties going.

Well my trulock chokes came on the little brown truck today :) They seem to be a perfect fit just as George said they would be :) :) They even threw in a nice choke tube case for free! I gotta recommend these to anybody looking for aftermarket chokes great quick service and a nice product. Now lets see if my skeet scores improve with using skeet tubes ! :) :) Thanks Cat.
