Franchi Highlander SXS

I ask because we've been offerred a few by a distributor at, what appears to be a good price. We could offer the 20's as low as $2199. Not really being an expert on Italian sg's, I'm debating whether to take a few or not.

That'd be a VERY good deal for customers in view of the current price that I've observed.

We decided to try a few; we have one 12 Nickel receiver and three 20 gauge case colored receivers coming. We paid a little more for some, depending on grade of wood but starting price will be $2199 for a 20 gauge. I'll be getting pics of the wood sent to me ASAP and I'll post them on the EE.

What would one expect to pay retail?

I would say that SakoAlberta's indicated price is certainly the most competitive at this time (and no, I've no affiliation with this establishment nor have I purchased anything from them :))

The LC Smith is OEM in Turkey, no?
Cat

The 28ga LC Smith is made by Zabala (Spain). Believe the 12/20 are still made in Italy. You may note, the 28 weighs around the same as the 12ga.

So, those of you who are shotgun experts, are these really a 'fine' gun? What other brands are comparible? I've held a Ruger Gold label but it seemed like a plain ordinary gun for something thatwas going for around $2500. Is this a better gun than the Ruger? Who else (I see Epps has one) would have a good selection so I could compare? Thanks!
