Anyone have any experience with this model of Franchi Semi-auto

I own and have had over the eyars several O/U shotguns in several gauges (Berettas, Citori and a Franchi) and do a lot of Skeet, 5 stand and Sporting Clays with them.

The I-12 would be used mostly for upland hunting, ducks and 3 -5 times a year on the sporting clay/5 stand coarses.

Most Autos on the market today will shoot consistently hunting loads with higher Dram and Ounces of shot.

I am concerend it may not shoot 2-3/4" 3 dram Target loads consistently.

Benelli action, decent looks and simplicity it appears to have.

My son purchased the fully camouflaged 1 recently. It would not reliably feed/extract the 2.75 " shells. He ran some heavy duck loads and a few OO buck rounds through it & still had the odd stoppage so he promptly traded it for a Beretta 391.It was new & I'm sure if he had of kept up with the heavier loads it would have worked in eventually but being young, patience is not one of his virtues. Cheers Bac4
