Just picked up, from a fellow CGNer, a Franchi Master Trap 12G with 30" barrels choked `full and full`` and steel receiver. As a bonus, the wood on this gun is really outstanding. I can find no evidence that it has ever been fired and the gun is totally unmarked. Did Franchi do a Skeet model of this gun.? I have searched the Internet and can find no mention of this model at all.

I shouldn't stick my neck out here because I am sure to get my head chopped off but I have never seen nor heard of a Franchi skeet but I have seen several trap models over the years.

Just wondered as most gun makers produce clay guns in both Skeet and Trap models and I would like to find a Skeet model to keep the Trap gun company.!!!
I know that when I was younger C..I.L. sold rebranded Fanchis in skeet configuration a well as trap guns, they were labelled the model 1000 Super Trap and Super skeet guns.
IIRC they were a Franchi 505.
In fact i have a 1970 catalogue with them in there!:dancingbanana:
I'l take a pic and post it.:p

Thanks Cat, I figured Franchi would have done a Skeet model to pair with the Trap gun. Mine has a non engraved receiver with the exception of `Master Trap`on it and has really nicely figured wood. All in all, a very nice gun to own and shoot but I wish I could pick one up new for $514.96 but that is definitely wishful thinking. T
