I've had a hankering lately for a .223 in a heavy barrel because it was something I have never owned. I am usually a Savage guy but hadn't found one that appealed to me. So I happened to see this on Ellwood Epps site and bought it immediately. It's a Franchi Momentum Elite Varmint in .223 with a 24" barrel and muzzle brake in midnight Bronze Cerakote. It has a 3 lug bolt with 60 degree throw. It comes with 2 magazines It also comes with an adjustable trigger and a factory installed scope rail. The synthetic stock is finished in Optifade subalpine camo. The scope is a Nikon 6x18x40 SF target model. The cheekpiece is removeable but not adjustable, which is fine because I like it the way it is.

Ellwood Epps had 2 in stock at the time and I purchased the second one. That's a very nice looking rifle and looking forward in shooting it once it get here. Thanks for posting pics.

right now blind magazines appeal to me my vanguard has one and it's very practicle since you will never lose it
if this came with a blind mag I would at the very least take a look at it because I am Italian 99.8% (23andMe)

I wonder how much "Franchi i" these are vs Sabbati, they use the exact same trigger unit as the Sabbatti Rover.
