Franchi PA8? Franchi SAS-12? Need help with ID and Value

Hello everyone.

Bought an older Franchi shotgun at an estate, and i’m having trouble identifying it. The stock is the same as a SPAS 12, but I know we can’t have those, and this one is pump only.

Any insight on model or value would be of great help. Thanks very much.

I don’t know if anyone but Franchi could tell you what it was as the configuration of stock and was the determiner afaik. Could be a PA7 tactical, PA8, SAS, or maybe even something else.

That’s a PA8. In that configuration it would be worth a few grand to the right person. Nice score.

It sounds like something stupid enough that I would probably try it single handed, if I couldn't convince my best friend to try it first haha.
Seriously though that is a truly beautiful shotgun.

It's a good question. I believe it helps with depolyong the stock, and once unfolded, it helps from getting the buttstock from getting hung up on flak vest or webbing.

The SPAS 12 is prohibited , thus the Turkish copy of this shotgun (even though function is different) is BANNED. Firearms in this socialist sh@thole are regulated by appearance …
