Franchi: Timber Camo... sticker or paint?

Hey all,

I just ordered an Franhi I-12 shotgun and it is in "Timber" (I wanted synthetic black, but the deal was too good).

Is this "finish" a sticker I can peel off or is it paint/silkscreen.

Why don't you try to trade with someone who wants a camo stock instead of trying to remove the camo. Try posting in the EE forums.

You may want to do a GOOGLE search on the Franchi I-12. I saw the price at Epps as well and have been debateing buying a 26" semi. Decided against trying one out based on postings of several owners largely to do with the recoil.
 
I've owned an M2 field in the past and it didn't bother me too much... aside from the "inertia-action" a large reason for the recoil is also due to how light the shotguns are (a compromise which I don't mind.)

The price is pretty amazing as it is an easy $300 off of the local shop prices.
 
Yes, it definetly was a good price. Part of not buying it goes to having a M1 Benelli and a Supersport already in the rack both with 28" barrels. Just had that impulse to get a semi with a 26" barrel that I hope I've talked myself out of.

Let us know your opinion on function when you get to try it out.
