You should probably take it to the police station and turn yourself in for having a prohibited device. Then a criminal gets put behind bars, and another gun goes on the pile for the "look at all the guns we GOT OFF THE STREETS" photo op.

OR you could weld/solder/screw/epoxy it back on.

You only get 10 years in jail for it so better turn your self in even though you did nothing to break it....
