Hey there, so I ordered a new scale. the Frankford arsenal digital scale. It worked great for about a week then the scale started to drift . it has an auto correct drift feature but its still worrying weighing powder. I calibrate it then tare the empty pan then it will drift about . 1 - .5 grains without the pan on it and with the pan and powder in it. Is this normal? Thanks!
 
Yea mine drifts too. I just have to keep an eye on it and its usually fine. My gripe with it is that it takes a second or two for it to properly display the weight once you add powder with a trickler. Eats up time. If i had the coin id just get a gempro or that RCBS one. The charge master i think its called?
 
mine drift too. I always calibrate at the beginning of the reloading sesión anyway and it stays true for that sesión. so, it's not a big deal for me.

Is there any other electronic equipment nearby that could be affecting it? I have heard people say that fluorescent lighting will affect digital scales.
 
I have the same one and I find it sometimes drift if not sitting level. But I always zero it before starting to re load and never leave any powder in there longer than a few seconds
