Older gentleman approached me on the weekend with a case ( metal ammo can ) containing 20 boxes ( 400 rounds ) of 762 Frankford Arsenal 173 Grains - 1965 match ammo.

We discussed a fair price and I told him I would do some checking and get back to him.

Looks like Fulton Armory ammo production ceased in the mid 60's and the 173 Gr. was discontinued in favor of the 168 Gr. Appears production was moved to the Lake City Arsenal in Independence, Missouri and the M118 round was made. Just a quick search on Google to piece that together so stand to be corrected.

Question being has anybody shot this stuff or know anything else about it ? And what would a fair price be?
