freaky whitetail

Id guess he'll gross in the area of 195 give or take. Beautiful dear. I think I recognize that background and, that would be the area you could find a buck like that. They seem to carry a lot of junk up there. Good on ya, and what did you shoot him with (please say something like .308 or 25-06...)?
 
Hey Guys....thanks for all the compliments on dad's buck. Just an update on the score...we had it officially scored tonight and we underestimated on our initial guesses. It officially scores 217 gross and 207 1/2 net non typical. It has 46+ inches of mass measurements. 27.5 inches wide. 36.75 inches of non typical points. The taxidermist had to order a special styro-form for his huge head. Only if I could have shot him.......

Nice buck!
I live way in the south end of Alberta, and we do get the occasional monster down here. But my best deer is a far cry for that big!
That's the stuff dreams are made of. Congratulations!
 
Anybody going to the AB F&W banquet near Edmonton on the 25th can check this buck out. My dad recieved a letter that it may be #1 NonTyp in AB this year. Official B&C score is 216 gross 208 1/4 net.
