Free-floating barrel ??

I am looking to buy a 17HMR 93R Savage gun.
Some of them say it has a free floating barrel ..

Having be in the Military myself I know what free floating means in sniper guns , is this the same thing or does it has a different meaning ???

Free Floating Barrel: A barrel assembly that is only connected to the other parts of the firearm via the receiver. The stock or forend barrel channel is just wide enough to not contact any point on the barrel, thus reducing the chance of accuracy-reducing pressure on the barrel.

sniper rifle, rimfire, bb gun... it's all the same
