Where would one go to find out more information on 50m Free Pistol and 50m 3-p matches in or around the greater Niagara region or the greater Toronto region?

Also, what forum would this type of shooting fall under on CGN? The precision forum seems to be all 300+ yards and out.

Positition shooting isn't a real popular type of shooting on CGN - so there is no forum specifically for it. Precisision forum would likely be the best, or if you have specific questions regarding the 50m 3p or prone events there are a couple people that can help you out.

I am not farmiliar with the clubs in the GTA so can't help you there.

Targettalk.org is also a great forum for the olympic type shooting.
