Free Shipping is no longer viable

Starting Immediately ( November 15, 2021 ) Wolverine Supplies will no longer be able to continue to offer our FREE2SHIP promotion. Due to increased shipping rates from all parties, inflated taxes from governing bodies, fuel surcharges ( 15+ % ) and thinner and thinner margins by the day if we want to choose to keep the lights on here and continue to provide the best possible service we can here at Wolverine, it can no longer continue. Our staff of 20+ folks here will be working as hard as we can to ensure you are provided with fair pricing, quick and efficient service, and above all else the customer experience you have come to know from us.

When checking out online the appropriate shipping charge will be applied to your cart, if firearms or accessories it will be going through Canada Post. If ammunition or dangerous goods then it will be going via courier, which most likely will be Purolator.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact our sales team and they will help you out! We are however coming up to Black Friday, we are currently in hunting season, and Christmas is right around the corner so we are going to be busy busy! We will do our best to answer every enquiry as quickly as we can.

If you feel like browsing an awesome selection of items guns and gear, you know where to go! --> https://www.wolverinesupplies.com/#?sortValue=0

** If you have already placed an order online and purchased products ( paid in full ), the free shipping will be honoured. If you have a backordered item, shipping will be applicable when the order is ready to ship.

Can't blame you. Every industry is getting a bit dicey. Costs for literally every service, and every product are just rising non stop.

I tell you a secret: "free" shipping is never free. its either built in the price of the items or billed extra.

People can buy an $800 gun and pay $50 for shipping or they can buy the same gun for $850 with free shipping.

Not a secret, and not something that we practiced either. We keep our pricing fair and don't play silly "sales and specials" retail shenanigans of jacking prices to then immediately "put them on sale" so it appears you are getting a deal.

Profit is not a bad word either, this is a business. We are here to stay, and to do that we need to make money. Free shipping erodes profit margins, and it has gotten exponentially worse in the last 1-2 years.

sadly there are still many smooth brained people who believe there is such thing as free shipping and free healthcare ...

Any reasonably intelligent person should understand that you are not a gun welfare organization that hands guns out at cost to deserving citizens ...

In the end if someone only looks at cost when buying guns (and I DONT recommend that) the total matters regardless if shipping was "free" or not.

Free shipping is essentially just word play

A business in my home town (small town Saskatchewan) used to have sales that he would advertise 10% off, except he would mark the prices up 10% before the sale.

Business 101 +10%.

100% we are not the only ones.

This is absolutely true... I can feel it as an individual shipping EE sales. For example, Canada Post increased the oversize fee (think rifle boxes) from $18 to $25 --- two years ago it was $10, or a 150% increase. I know dealers contracts with Canada Post/couriers vary, but I have no doubt they've felt the pinch as well.

Appreciated your free shipping in the past, What can you do! prices are ridicules everywhere as inflation is crazy, even the used gun market is ludicrous in pricing, people asking inflated prices for rifles (lever actions in particular) that they deem rare or, hard to come by, in some cases asking as much as new on the shelf! lol. I have a few large $ items to buy over the next few months but will be very selective.
