This would be great, very interested as well. Longer handguard would look awesome with the longer NR barrel

We have a sample ordered and will have to get her classified by the RCMP

She should be non-restricted as we will have her manufactured with an 18.6 inch barrel for Canada. Ten rd Glock mags could be used in her.

Our target price will be $799.00 Canadian retail, we have already been warned that our cost will be going up in the next year.

Comments please.

Can I just send you the 799 now and not worry about having to pay you more next yr ☺

And BAM! Just like that I am in love....... whoooo weeee ladies and gentleman! Once we do our "thang" ith the RCMP you gotta get your hands on one of these!!

That looks really good. Can't wait until these are approved. Are we talking about months or over a year realistically speaking?

Love it. Pistol caliber carbines are really coming on strong. Now that IDPA and USPSA have PCC divisions we should see more and more of them.

I wonder what the trigger is like on this gun. Looks like aftermarket AR-15 triggers are a no-go.

MAC on YouTube did a review of thing, the guy couldn't keep the smile off his face. Really hope all goes well with the lab thanks so much for getting this going.

Projected to be under a grand for an AR-ish 9mm carbine?

Might just tempt me to get rid of my CX4

Needs to take AR trigger groups, however. I have Mosin Nagants with better triggers than milspec AR junk

As per manufacture it will accept ar15 trigger groups "BUT" We do not recommend using aftermarket lighter weight triggers, if you wish to try an aftermarket trigger group we recommend keeping your factory supplied trigger group near by for re-installation as it has more disconnector engagement built into it than a normal mil spec trigger group or after market trigger group. And another "BUT" one glowing review from one gentleman had some doubling Freedom sent him a new firing pin spring no more doubling. Quotes "I've installed a LaRue MBT-2S trigger, an ambi safety lever, and a couple other modifications. The carbine is now absolutely perfect, and fired suppressed or unsuppressed, I love the accuracy and perfect function" Another review "The original trigger is good, but I found it a bit hard to pull. Not sure what it as and whether it would loosen as time went on. I decided on installing a CMC drop in 2# / 2# two stage trigger. I am loving this gun ! It's incredibly fun to shoot"

It would be nice to see a last shot bolt hold open and the ability to insert a full mag on a closed bolt....if this were to be so..i would be all over it in a second....

I loved my JR, but those issues, plus the wiggly magazine while inserted grated on me..and i finally sold it...and I blew up my kel-tec sub 2000...out of battery discharge destroyed the polymer receiver....so I really would love to find the perfect non-restricted 9mm carbine...that has a receiver constructed out of metal
