DANGER-SQUIBS. I had 2 squibs out of 16 rounds fired in my antique 1892. I have heard of this happening to others as well so be careful.
The ammo is made specifically for those revolvers and is a safe pressure for them. They were designed for smokeless ammunition from the start.
Aside from a few low production number knock offs or emergency WW1 contracts, the 1892 was basically the only gun to use them and between the start and end of production there weren't any significant design/materials changes.
I pulled the Fiocchi projectiles and reload for it with lead projectiles now.
If you don't reload and do use the Fiocchi ammo, do check for squibs/bore obstructions if you're not positive the round went downrange... The other thread does have far more info on the revolver/ammo overall!
