French and HK416

Because your rifles are hardly Canadian anymore, and HK makes the best small arms most of the time all the time!

Yes there are other company's out their like KAC but they are smaller, and i'm an HK Fanboy:p

Look a brand new C8/C7A2 straight out the factory is great, but the HK416 is several steps up, with training though much of this is curtailed, but the 416 is a newer better made rifle!

And for a soldier like me, with my spectacular skills i need my rifle to keep up and be able to maintain functionality with high amounts rounds being expended and "Colt Canada" rifles can't do that!

They are great rifle but the HK416 and few other manufactures that have followed after the 416, have taken the M4 design to the 21st century!

"It really is leaps and bounds ahead of predecessors" :p:stirthepot2:

But seriously for spec ops at least this is much better rifle, and the higher level of performance shows!

ok lol

I see your on HKs pay role ;)

P.S. if you clean and run your C7 or C8 wet you may see your stoppages go away :D

To certain extent, but in some cases no matter how much you clean it as soon as you take it out it becomes dry n sandy again, and it wont be at it's best.

I will say, I don't see a new to replace the C7/C8 though a piston upgrade kit would probably be beneficial.

Depends where you are fighting, I suppose. The hot, sandy, dusty places make the well designed piston system worth it (note I don't include all the wannabe piston systems). However, I don't see much gain in our climes over DI.

I want a HK416 - just because I want one! However, I suspect if I have to run of the door right the way - it will be my 14.5" M4 that comes with me.
