French Lebel Rifle 8mm x 50 R Availability?

I haven't seen any for sale and have been looking for a while. Put a add on the EE and had two offered by the same seller for the prices of 1500$ and 2500$. When I asked for pictures, the person never responded, so that made things easy.

I would say the value should roughly be in the 600-1500$ range depending on condition.

Hey thanks for the reply. I have been reached out to by 2 people on here who have offered to sell them for +$1500, one was similarly offering 2 for sale. They have also not replied to my requests for pictures- heads up on that one folks

I would strongly agree that at this time, their value is in the range of $600- 1500 condition dependent
 
Don't be in a hurry to buy one. Iam still looking for a few guns ,but I choose carefully what I buy. Iam looking for a Springfield for over3yrs. I have been shown junk and they still want big money. The Lebels where on my want for about 15 years. Went hunting last night for my old note book. Out of 27 rifles on my wish list. I have 19 any many others.

Yes they are out there and some interesting variations:

i have found
- all matching 1886m93 modified for balle N
- not matching warhorse 1886m93 not modified for balle N
- commercial 1886 sold by manufrance or manufacture d'armes et de cycles de Ste-Étienne in 8mm lebel
- 1886m93r35
- Lebel scolaire in flobert caliber

Still need to find a 1886 not modified in 1893, a 1886m93 with apx scope and a lebel 1886 m27 in 7,5mm. Also need the money to buy theses if i ever find them...

Bumping to see if any new information has emerged! Unfortunately the last few months of searching my local (driveable) gun shows hasn't turned up a dime!
