What are you planning to use it for? For competition, go G34, for general range use, 17 or 34, prolly 17 if you want the shorter, wimpier, less accurate barrel

17 with a Hogue grip will fit large hands and be a great gun!

I love my G17s gen 3 it was the first glock I picked up, then I picked up a gen 4. Good little pistols lots of parts available

I have the G22 with the Storm Lake barrel and I love being able to shoot 9mm and 40cal with the same gun.

This^^^^^^^^^^. Same but with an black IGB plasma nitrided and a LW stainless barrel.

+1 for glock 17.. I would just say go with gen3

Make sure you handle the Gen 4 before deciding between Gen 3 or Gen 4. I found the RTF on the Gen 4 to be too aggressive / rough (for my apparently girlie-soft hands )
