Hey everybody, just wondering where I can order some Froglube paste in Canada? I'm having a hard time finding it. Thanks everyone!

Prairie Guntraders has SEAL clp, which is the same stuff from what I was told. Guys who invented Frog lube split and the co-founder made SEAL CLP plus. They have the wipes, paste, liquid ect.. I use it on all my guns from my Savage smokeless muzzleloader to my Glock 22, stuff is great.

I was just in Dave's Surplus & Tactical yesterday in New Westminster.... they have all kinds of it... they advertise here, the link is up top

I have to ask: is that stuff any good?
My handguns specified in the manual that came with them that anything including lubes that requires heating or bonds to the metal should be avoided (HK arms). I wonder why?
Froglube seems to be pretty popular somehow this popular gun manufacturer warns the user against it...

....?

I wonder why would I heat up my guns and going through all that hassle when there are newer and easier to apply products out there, like Mpro7.

Guys......I'm only going to say this once, so you can take it or leave it.....Frog Lube is a gimmick, yes it leaves your guns with what appears to to a protective film, but keep in mind that this stuff is water based and does more harm than good when quenched into warm steel. I'm no rocket scientist, but water based anything is an enemy of steel. I think if you warmed your gun parts with a hair dryer and quenched with proper gun oil, it would be more beneficial. Just my two cents on Frog Lube.

It says its "water insoluble" and I'm no rocket appliance either, but that means it can't be water based.....
Look at the msds they have to get an idea of what's in it.

not sure but i left a sks i had lube with frog lube for over 6 months in my safe, no rust or anything but then again nothing in my safe has rust.

ive only use frog lube so i actually can't compare to anything else other then some oil i used at TSE once. I didn't like the oil.

smells like gum and i have never had a stoppage due to improper lubing. Then again i am brand new when it comes to firearms still compared to most of CGN

There's been problems, not sure if I'm supposed to be posting this but check out some experiences on sigtalk. Apparently areas that get a thicker film gum up, check it out. May just be user error, you be the judge.

Its like grease, and should be used sparingly like grease.....I would not be putting globs of it on any pistols. It should be applied, left to sit for a bit or even warmed up, then wiped dry.....that simple.

Froglube seems to repell water just fine to me.
