This book is called “Ammunition Making” by George E. Frost.I used the info from this book to make a set of draw dies for forming .10mm rimfire Swiss Vetterli cases. With great help form a friend of mine at the university chem. Department we made some lead styphnate priming compound. This was formed into the hollow base of the case rim with the use of a priming spinner bit that I also did up on the lathe...and here all along guys were saying that it was the case its self that was spun.....hmm. These are just a few excerpts from this 160 page book of pure answers. Also, sorry for the order of a few pages, my girlfriend stole the computer half way through.

Thanks.......... I'll see if I got any more stuff. Think I got some info on early smokeless powder R&D, I'll have to rummage.

while were at it does anyone have any info on how smokeless powder is made? im interested in the chemistry involved.
