From Field to Table: CWD and You!

Thanks for the kind response.

I'll give attention to any resources you can share with regards to spongiform 'transmission'

Most studies I have seen are highly presumptive with results speculative at best.

Please help educate me!

There isn't good evidence that it can jump to humans.

But a lack of that isn't evidence that it can't jump either.

If you're feeding deer meat to your kids, is it worth the risk? Thats your call.

If one is truly concerned, just leave the spinal cord (and cranium) intact.

Removing the antlers poses more of a 'risk' than eating the meat.

I know individuals who have quit hunting due to this BS fear based propaganda.

I didnt give my authority and trust away to academic speculation in 2020, nor will I now.

You do you though 🙏

I have submitted over a dozen cervid heads for testing over the years. I will continue to do so, at great expense due to my remote location

I understand science to be a PROCESS

I trust the process, I distrust SPECULATION

Show us more of what you think you know there, buddy.

Dr. James Kroll is a shill who promotes high fence hunting over true hunting.
His bias shows through every single time he opens his tap on this matter.
I personally do not believe a word he has to say.

And yes, I am a retired biologist who has hands on experience with the effects of CWD.

Cheers
It’s wild people still have elk and deer farms in Ontario and quebec, should have all be banned decades ago. I remember in school over 20 years ago some German guy was doing a presentation said it was coming no one believed him.

You think of all the dementia death and if they actually get tested for prions. Same with the beef industry, slaughter before showing symptoms (I’d rather eat man old cow)
