From hunting rifle to a scary black one.

I'm glad you like it! Somebody has to. I sure it functions just fine but the style is not for me, thanks. You probably wouldn't appreciate my preference for dense, finely figured walnut, artistic hand engraving, and sleek lines. And that's perfectly OK.

shame on me I transformed a hunting rifle to "scary black rifle" I put a Savage Hog Hunter .308 in a MDT XRS chassis and my rifle now have a MDT 12 round magazine and oh no I put a Surefire 3P Eliminator flash hider too

I really like the look, what do you think guys? Maybe I will add a low power scope on it or a red dot I'm not yet decided.

Same here. My preference always has been and still is nicely figured wood and blued steel. Nothing against that particular style, just not for me.

To each their own I guess, reminds me of a Mosin in that archangel plastic fantastic stock. It’s kinda like dating a fat girl, you might like banging her but do you want your friends to see you with her?

Actually, I would go with a 1-5(6) power scope with true 1 power and illuminated dot.

After trying an Aimpoint and a Leupold scout scope on my Ruger GSR I decided to go with an “AR” type scope. Picked up a Steiner T5Xi 1-5. Way better than a forward mounted scout scope. Huge FOV and excellent for both eyes open on 1x. It’s the best of both worlds.

Same here. My preference always has been and still is nicely figured wood and blued steel. Nothing against that particular style, just not for me.

Yep same here nothing against it, but for me is nice deep shiny blue and nice walnut(or at least walnut lol), open sights and tight checkering!

Red dot, and bayonets lug wouldn't be a bad look..
