From the Mind of BUBBA

Hah! That Mosin stock has made the rounds.

It was originally on an 1895 dated M91/38 barreled receiver. Helped my buddy put the barreled action into a correct stock and sold that funky one.

Didn’t think I’d see it again. A lot of work someone put into that stock. Ugly as sin, but was comfy. :)

I've got a few projects cooking.....

I was just welding up some bits the other night, then a little hammering to get everything to fit right.

Just need to get out the torch and oil black a few more parts

a little more chisel work to match up the edges and then glue it all together.....

;)

Don't forget to flame the stock for that old school camo pattern.

If you don’t like it, don’t do it.

Your opinion of what others do is immaterial, unless the other is looking to sell to you.

I bought a Lee Enfield for the barreled action a few years ago which had an ugly flame job. On top of that someone had made a stock out 2x6. Chiseled out where the stock bolt went and glued it together. Very ugly job on shaping also. Wish I had thought of taking pictures.
