Front BUIS

Personal preference. Same as asking which is the best stock or what grip to get. It all comes down to the individual. I like "globe" style front sights where I can align concentric circles, so if available I would get an HK style front. Some people prefer standard M16/M4 sights.

I have been shopping for a front sight and chose the Troy folding m4 buis. The hk sight only works well if you can adjust the rear sight for elevation. Moving the post up and down misaligns the circle in circle sight picture as real hk firearms use a fixed front post.I hope that helps!

Thanks, good to know. Pretty sure the Troy and Samson rears are not elevation adjustable.

The front post IS elevation adjustable but when moved up and down it is no longer center of the "circle in circle" sight picture. To use them properly you need a rear sight with adjustable elevation and fixed front post like hk firearms use. The KAC are also a great choice likely going on my next build

Sorry about that, I meant the rear sights. I edited my previous post.

I'd give the 2nd place to the MBUS PRO, especially now that they have a LR adjustable rear coming... Might even get first place, we'll see when I get to play with one. But the KAC 600m micro is still my #1 so far.

edit: re-read the OP, no experience with HK style front so can't say... sorry for missing the point here.
