Front Cocking Serrations

How about about the ones on the m&p 2.0? They are tiny, and as soon as the slide starts moving there is a bulge in the frame that pushes your thumb off! Lol design fail...

I'm indifferent. I would not use them anyway and aesthetics is not a priority for me on plastic bullet-launching appliances.

Wasn't a spot for me to vote. I have two guns with front serrations, I prefer the appearance of them but do not use the front serrations.

I like them...not a deal breaker...but I do prefer the look and for other reasons already stated...

I prefer pistols with both front and rear serrations. The front serrations are easier and less clumsy to grab, and with my clearing hand below the gun, get an uncluttered view of the open port and breech. Extra power springs in a 1911 needs a strong grip on the front serrations though.

Your poll questions are written in such a way as to indicate that you like them, and people who don't are only about looks.

The truth is that front slide serrations are merely decorative for most users and encourage poor weapons handling.

They do have their place, but really only for very few users. I consider them a special purpose accessory feature which requires specific training.

I've personally tried to make it my practice to avoid LCF for LCF's sake on guns.
