Front ghost ring sight For 870- Tactical

Hello All
My front sight from the ghost ring setup flew down the range last Sunday.
Went to the usual (basspro, cabellas, lebaron, al's) around the GTA to get the new one - no one has it, no one caries it.
Can anyone suggest the place in Canada where I can get the replacement without being hassled by buying it from states.

Doubt you'll be able to buy just the front, but try Epp's. Epp's is the go-to place for anything unusual. I'd be wanting to talk to whoever installed the thing too.
"...Went to the usual..." Of all those places the only one likely to even know what you're talking about is Al's. The rest of 'em are staffed by minimum wage clerks.
 
My guess is he's talking about the 870 'Tactical' front bead sight, not the Scattergun/Wilson Trak-lock ones.

If that the case, you just need a front 'rifle' sight for an 870. XSSights is the maker of the ones on the front of the tactical.
 
The one I had was not a bead one. it has a little rail/track which you push in the sight from the side (excuse my ignorance - don't know the name for it).
The once from the xssights are a bit different.
I believe this is the same one as I had

No no - that IS what I'm talking about. It's a rifle front sight (ramp and dovetail bead/dot) - and they are made by XS Sights (at least the REAR is on the Tactical model).

In any case, any Remington 870 dovetailed rifle sight should fit in there. Replace it with a fibre optic - the stock white 'dot' sucks anyway! :)
