I need a front guard screw for my Parker-Hale Safari Deluxe. It is some strange thread pitch that I cannot find anywhere here. It is neither Imperial, nor common metric. I believe the action is a Santa Barbara. If anyone can assist me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Eagleye.

The screw you need has a 1/4-22 thread.
Russell(page 74 2008 cat) has replacement screws for the Mauser FN which will work in your rifle.

If Russells doesn't work, I've got some old military style(compatible with locking screws) types. I pretty sure I could be talked into parting with one.
