front sight #1 mk 3

anyone out there know if there is suppose to be a pin holding the front sight on????? if so where can i get one, Thanks

If you are referring to the sight base and it's connection to the barrel the answer is yes. try Springfield sporters for parts. They have an exploded view diagram as well to make it easier to find what you need.

The front sight blade is in a dovetail with a press fit. No screw for it. Marstar has nose cap screws. $3 each.
