Front sight base question

Hey,
anyone have any ideas what to do with a A2 front sight base/gas block where the taper pin holes do not match up with the pre-drilled holes on the barrel? Both barrel and FSB are from two different manufacturers, only 1 hole lines up.

Drill and tap the FSB for set screws

Take it to a ‘smith that has experience mounting FSB. I had Doug at Epps do one for me years ago that didn’t match. Came out great. TacOrd come highly recommended for this sort of thing as well.

Casey at Tac Ord has done tons if them. He also has the proper machining equipment to do it.
